Question by DenverDude: Where are good areas to look for houses in the Salt Lake City area?
My good friend is looking to relocate to Salt Lake City as he got a new job there. Even though I’m only 1 state away I know nothing about the area itself. Can anyone recommend places to look for or avoid when house searching? He would like something nice middle class, no lower or upper really, and thats safe and quiet.

I don’t really know what parts he should look in but I can tell you a couple of parts that he should avoid. West Valley City and Midvale can be pretty rough. I wouldn’t want to live in either town. Magna is another place I would avoid.
As far as SLC itself goes, I wouldn’t live anywhere in the area except possibly on the east side, above 900 East but this area can get expensive. Generally I would advise him to look as close as possible to where he works, while staying out of these areas.

Condominiums were introduced in the Philippines as a new type of housing for Filipinos. According to many, it was the perfect type of housing to accommodate the changing needs and lifestyles of Filipinos all over Philippines, particularly in Metro Manila. So what are the things that made condominium popular?
The goodThe main advantage of condominiums from apartments is its permanence in residence. Apartments became popular because of its affordability, however, apartments can only provide a temporary state of residence. These types of housing doesn’t also protect its residents from eviction. Condominiums, on the other hand, is like owning a house which looks like an apartment unit. However, like apartments, condominiums are also known for its other benefits.
Similar to apartments, most condominiums are also found inside or near major business districts, such as the many makati condo. This gives its residents the luxury of living within walking distance to their workplaces.
