Corporate Solutions at Salt Lake Community College has formed a partnership with Development Dimensions International (DDI) to provide leadership, workforce and customer service training programs to local companies.
The collaboration with DDI, a human resource consulting firm widely recognized for leadership and management training programs that improve employee performance, gives the Salt Lake Valley business community access to programs that they otherwise would have to train in-house or hire trainers to travel to their sites.
Corporate Solutions is offering DDI courses this spring to assist local companies that include:
Developing Others, April 26, 8 a.m.-1 p.m.: Leaders acquire techniques for effectively helping team members to develop skills, knowledge and competencies.
Setting Performance Expectations, May 17, 8 a.m.-1 p.m.: Leaders build skills and techniques in conducting effective discussions with employees.
Essentials of Leadership, June 14, 8 a.m.-1 p.m.: Managers, owners and other leaders develop effective interpersonal relationships.
All DDI courses count toward the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) certification requirements. Corporate Solutions aims to support all SHRM members and helps companies offset the cost of DDI trainings through grant funding opportunities available to eligible businesses.
?The partnership with DDI allows the College to contribute to the business growth and success of Salt Lake City and neighboring communities by providing the best training and development resources to area companies,? said Mark Poole, Corporate Solutions Director.
